Andy Thompson is a Founder, and the Chief Marketing Officer of OASIS Advisors, where he oversees brand strategy, advisor growth, and client engagement. A second-generation financial professional, Andy began his career immediately after attending Minnesota State University Moorhead, where he played collegiate basketball and developed a strong foundation in leadership and teamwork.

Mentored by his parents, Tim and Janelle, who built a respected advisory office over four decades, Andy helped expand the firm into Fargo, ND before returning to his hometown of Wausau, WI. There, he met his wife, Samantha, and together they played a pivotal role in expanding the firm into the Phoenix Valley, partnering with Andy’s brother, Taylor, who now leads the Arizona office.

Andy’s focus is on the front end of the business—building strategic relationships with non-competing professionals, attracting industry talent, and guiding new client relationships. He is a passionate advocate for fiduciary responsibility and leads with integrity, education, and a service-first mindset. Through the firm’s proprietary OASIS Wealth Planning Process, Andy helps create a collaborative, objective, and holistic experience for both clients and advisors.

Now based in Wisconsin’s Northwoods, Andy and Samantha are active in their community and proud parents to their son, Harris. Outside of work, Andy is deeply passionate about the outdoors and spends as much time as possible immersed in nature—whether fishing, hiking, hunting, or simply enjoying the quiet beauty of the Northwoods.
